UAE authorities instruct UAE citizens to self-isolate if they test positive for COVID-19 during their travels, and ensure compliance with all directives, requirements, and health protocols implemented by their host countries.

Meanwhile, infected Emiratis will be allowed to return to the UAE after obtaining necessary approvals from the relevant authorities in the host country as well as the competent health departments in the UAE.
