Pushkar Singh Dhami sworn as new Uttarakhand CM, takes oath

Pushkar Singh Dhami

Pushkar Singh Dhami swore as 11th CM of Uttarakhand State and 3rd CM of Uttarakhand in a Single term. A two time MLA Dhami takes oath for CM, and Governor Baby Rani Maurya administered the oath. Over the political crisis in Uttarakhand State between prominent and experienced leaders, BJP, this step is hoped by BJP to quash all the irregularities that arise inside the party. Dhami became the youngest CM of Uttarakhand State at the age of 45.

Pushkar Singh Dhami is a two-time MLA from Khatima and was a promising youth leader in ABVP with a strong influence in the State. Contrary to the circumstances, many prominent leaders of Uttarakhand, including Dhan Singh Rawat, Satpal Maharaj, Yashpal Arya, Harak Singh Rawat and Subodh Uniyal, got miserable with the decision from High Command. On that, High Command granted these prominent leaders Ministerial posts in the State.

Meanwhile, the decision from High Command has taken with the view of targeting the majority population of the State that comprise the Rajput or Kshatriyas. The High Command also focused on projecting a young and dynamic leader to target youth.

Pushkar Singh Dhami was born in Khatima, and his father served in the army as Subedar. He achieves his Education qualification from Lucknow University and is also a law graduate. He even served under Uttarakhand CM Bhagat Singh Koshiyari as an adviser and officer on special duty.

Thus, the Uttarakhand looks forward to more development and up-gradation of the State under Pushkar Singh Dhami's rule. The BJP is also targeting the 2022 Uttarakhand Elections under Dhami's leadership of the State only.
