Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Thailand to demand political change and a change in the country's vaccination scheme.

Local police fired tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters on Saturday, saying protesters had disregarded Covid's government restrictions.
People say the government is too late to roll out the coronavirus vaccine. They also demanded that the government should start using mRNA guns such as Pfizer and Moderna, instead of shooting Sinovac of China.

Protesters also demanded the resignation of Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha, which was unpopular with many locals.

As protesters marched out with placards and raised slogans, the arrival of about 500 was bypassed by police.

Protests have erupted in several parts of Thailand. In the southern province of Narathiwat, scores of people are riding on branded motorcycles and showing three fingerprints.
